For the last 40 years of my life I have been dedicated to herpetology. Since 2009 that focus has been on basilisks. These past eleven years I have amassed a great deal of insight into the captive husbandry and breeding of Basiliscus plumifrons, Basiliscus vittatus and Basiliscus basiliscus.
Every year hundreds of basilisks are imported for the pet trade. Most perish before even landing in a home. Some large percentage that do make it to a point of sale succumb to improper husbandry. It is my goal to offer captive bred animals, which are better suited for captive life. A demand for captive bred animals can reduce the need for wild caught animals. Additionally, my animals come with the resources of my experience to get each animal off to a great start!

Our program offers the ability to follow along the progress of all our animals via social media. Watch as gravid females lay the eggs, see the incubation progress and see them hatch! We keep all hatchlings for one month to ensure a great start and guarantee live delivery!
